1. We respect your privacy

RealWell respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers, website visitors and users of our products and services. 

This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect and treat personal information. It deals with the protection of your privacy when you use our websites (at: realwell.org.au and creatingpathways.org.au) and services (e.g. your customer details as a registered user).

We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and meet these obligations in how we collect, store and use all relevant personal information.  

“Personal information” is information we hold which is identifiable as being about you and/or others for whom you may be responsible when you or they are using our websites and/or using our products and services (e.g., name, address, and other personal details, qualities, preferences or opinions). Throughout this policy, when it refers to ‘you’ it also includes anyone for whom you may be acting as the responsible person.

  a. Websites

When you use our websites, we collect information that you volunteer to us (for example, information that you enter into a form during a sign-up process, or options and preferences you choose or express to access a service or use a feature).

When we collect personal information, it is in the following manner:

    1. We will not collect information that identifies you personally, except when you specifically volunteer that information for an explicitly stated product or purpose. These might include for:

      2. Product registration and licensing

    1. We may provide some of your personal information from time to time to Third Party Service Providers in order to help us service you via the websites. For example, we use Amazon Web Services for a range of computing and internet services including storage for and operation of our websites and products.
    2. We may also provide some of your personal information to Third Party Service Providers for the purpose of analysing data or tracking usage. For example, we may use these services to find out where page requests come from, dates and times of page requests, details of any website that referred you to the Websites and other details about your usage of the Websites. This information enables us to understand patterns of usage of the Websites, and to improve the Websites. 
    3. However, we will only share your personal information with a Third Party Service Provider that provides services in a manner that complies with our privacy standards as set out in this Privacy Policy. Your personal information will not be sold or otherwise transferred to other third parties without your explicit approval.

We do not combine, link or aggregate any of your personal information with other personal information of yours which we may be holding.

You acknowledge, agree and accept that no transmission of information or data via the internet is ever completely secure. you acknowledge, agree and accept that we do not guarantee or warrant the security of any information that you provide to us, and that you transmit such information at your own risk.

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time at our sole discretion.

    1. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, unless we obtain your express consent to those changes, then such changes will only apply to any information that we obtain from you after the date that the changes take effect.
    2. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, your continued use of the Websites after the date that the changes take effect confirms that you acknowledge, accept and agree to those changes.

10. Complaints

We take customer satisfaction very seriously. If you have a complaint in relation to our handling of your personal information, we will endeavour to handle it promptly and fairly. Our complaints handling procedure is as follows:

    1. Any complaints are forwarded to our complaints officer for review. We aim to review all complaints within 7 days of receiving them. If necessary, the complaints officer may then refer the complaint to another section within our organisation for consideration. If further information is required, we may contact you to request that information. If we accept fault in relation to the complaint then we will propose a resolution (which may or may not be the same as any resolution proposed by you). If we do not accept fault, then we will contact you to advise you of this. We aim to complete this entire process within 21 days, provided that we are provided complete information in the first place. 
    2. All complaints should be provided in writing either by email or regular mail, using the contact details at the end of this privacy policy. Describe the nature of your complaint including any relevant dates, people involved, any consequences that have occurred, and what you believe should be done to rectify the issue. We will endeavour to respond within 21 days, although we cannot guarantee this.
    3. If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, you may refer your complaint to the relevant external dispute resolution organisation in your area.
